Yesterday, Sega Amusements announced the availability of this software to existing DCUSA owners for free. All this has been done to improve the DCUSA experience, also providing for some features that fans have been asking for.
Called the New Season Edition, this software package made several big modifications to the game, from updated graphics with a new lighting engine, improved handling, new car models and damage modelling, enhanced camera control and dynamic features, new car liveries and top 3 race highlights. At IAAPA 2018, Sega previewed an early build of another major update to their arcade-exclusive Daytona Championship USA game.
